Naufal Abdulbari, a student from the Faculty of Engineering from the 2015 Mining Engineering Study Program, in November 2018 was selected to take part in the Youth Cultural and Educational Exchange (YCEE) which was held in Istanbul, Turkey in the first week of February 2019. Naufal's participation was in line with the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education's program 'Hexagonal Activities Student Affairs', especially field F (internationalization). Naufal's participation is certainly in line with the two main keywords in Lambung Mangkurat University's vision, namely leading and competitive.

Since the last few years, ULM, especially the Faculty of Engineering, has strongly encouraged and supported its students to take part in international activities, especially on the Asian continent. Japan, China, India, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia are some of the countries that have become destinations for sending FT students. In 2019, at the start of the Dean's leadership for the 2018-2022 period, the Faculty of Engineering again sent students abroad to develop the students' insight and thinking horizons. This time, the destination is Türkiye, a country located on 'two continents', Asia with a taste of Europe. With Naufal's presence at the western tip of the Asian continent, it confirms the pattern of FT student development (Polbangmawa) which is succinctly summarized in two hashtags, namely #TeknikNot Just a Place to Study and #TeknikMendunia.

Naufal's activities in Turkey were quite busy, because apart from visiting several places in the Cultural Tour and University Tour sessions, Naufal also had to prepare essays and appear during Public Discussion sessions. After returning to Indonesia, Naufal's task was not finished, because he still had to make a short video "Jejak Naufal" and make a presentation/dissemination of activities to his friends and juniors. The obligation to disseminate activities by students participating in international activities has become a tradition at FT ULM. Another task that Naufal will carry out is to provide motivation to new FT ULM students in the 2019 PKKMB activities, such as the seniors who have previously raised the FT banner overseas (nhk).
