In this era of globalization, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is developing very rapidly and provides many benefits in life. This indicates that globalization has become part of people's lives in Indonesia. The development of ICT also affects all aspects of life, one of which is social. The social aspect is one of the most important aspects in life, considering the role of humans as social creatures. Therefore, the use of ICT must be introduced to the wider community so that they can apply and use it in social fields, such as village governance and so on. In this case, the management of the Information Technology Student Association (HMTI) wants to provide more knowledge to officials and the community in the village because the use of ICT in social life in the village is not yet optimal. This is what drives us, HMTI, to carry out this activity in the hope that the use of ICT in social life in the village can be more effective and optimal. Activities with the theme "Use of Information Technology in Village Governance" were held in Lok Baintan Village, 21 November 2020. During this pandemic, the Information Technology Student Association succeeded in completing Village Development this year by implementing health protocols recommended by the government.

At Bina Desa this time, the Information Technology Student Association not only helps the community to know about ICT, but we (HMTI) help the Lok Baintan village floating market traders by distributing masks, food and several vitamins to strengthen the body's immune system during the Covid pandemic. -19 this. As we saw in the field, there are still many who do not wear masks. Therefore, while we are distributing masks, we are also providing a little guidance on how important masks are for preventing Covid-19.
After we finished at the floating market, we continued our social service activities in Lok Baintan village and started training activities for Lok Baintan village officials. For approximately 3 hours the event lasted, we saw many village officials enthusiastically participating in our event. And most importantly, even though they are quite old, they are still enthusiastic about learning. Because of that, we are even more enthusiastic about providing this training.

After the training activities were completed, we also gave souvenirs to Lok Baintan Village in the form of plaques and souvenir photos which will be displayed at the Village Hall. We can learn many lessons from this activity. Namely, want to learn, want to try, and pray, God willing, effort will not betray the results.
