The Information Technology Student Association (HMTI) Faculty of Engineering, Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) Banjarmasin successfully held HMTI Goes Online (HGO) IT FEST 2020 with the theme "Information Technology Opportunities in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era" together with two speakers, namely Andreyan Rizky Baskara , S.Kom., M.Kom as Coordinator of the Bebras Bureau of Lambung Mangkurat University and Muhammad Ekky Subagya as Deputy Chair of HMTI 2019, Sunday 1 November 2020. HMTI Goes Online was held online with the Zoom platform. This activity was attended by approximately 50 participants intended for SMA/SMK/MA and equivalent students and was moderated by students from the ULM IT study program, namely Aida Raima class of 2019.

At HMTI Goes online (HGO) this time, HMTI held a different HGO from previous years. Due to the current pandemic and the need to comply with health protocols, it was forced to be held online and continued to be carried out in accordance with the objectives of the activity. HGO is held online to introduce the IT Study Program to SMA/SMK/MA and equivalent students.
The activity opened with welcoming remarks given by the Lecturer in the Information Technology Study Program, FT ULM, Yuslena Sari, S.Kom., M.Kom. Next continued from the first material, namely Muhammad Ekky Subagya "There is a lot of useful knowledge such as knowledge about IT study program lectures and IT job prospects which are very promising considering technology continues to develop." And the second resource person is Andreyan Rizky Baskara, S.Kom., M.Kom "Logic or a way of thinking that does not require memorization and allows us to break down a problem into several smaller and simpler parts, find patterns in the problem, and develop solution steps to overcome the problem”. After the material was finished, the committee held a quiz for SMA/SMK/MA and equivalent students with cash prizes. This quiz was won by 1st Place Gusti Salwa Shafa Balela from SMAN 1 Banjarmasin, 2nd Place Rafi Rizqa Fitrata from SMAN 1 Dusun Selatan, and 3rd Place Daryl David Huwae from SMAN 11 Banjarmasin.
The event, which lasted more than 3 hours, felt very short with the presentation of material by two speakers and enthusiastic questions from high school/vocational/MA and equivalent students participants who were accommodated well by moderator Aida Raima.
