On September 17 2020, the PANDAI and Bebras Movement Socialization Webinar was successfully carried out Challenges by the Information Technology Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Lambung Mangkurat University. This activity is a form of collaboration between the Information Technology Study Program and Bebras Indonesia to successfully implement the PANDAI Movement which aims to equip teachers to instill and develop computational thinking (CT) abilities. Through this movement, it is hoped that teachers will know and be able to adopt CT in their subjects, so that students can develop critical and creative thinking skills, especially computational thinking. The resource person who attended this activity, namely Mrs. Inggriani Liem as NBO Bebras Indonesia, conveyed how freedom of learning can be achieved through Computational Thinking and the SMART Movement.
Apart from that, Mrs. Yuslena Sari, S.Kom, M.Kom also conveyed the mechanism for implementing the PANDAI Movement in South Kalimantan. It was stated that the initial activity target was to collaborate with 480 elementary, middle and high school teachers in educating 44,000-50,000 students, especially for Banjarmasin City, Banjarbaru and Banjar Regency. As a good start, this activity was supported by the relevant agencies, namely the Head of the South Kalimantan Provincial Education Service, the Head of the Banjarmasin City Education Service, the Head of the Banjarbaru City Education Service and the Head of the Banjar Regency Education Service, who in each of their speeches were willing to provide support and assistance in implementing the Movement. This is SMART. Apart from that, this activity was also attended by 116 Principals and Teachers from several elementary, middle and high schools in South Kalimantan who greatly welcomed the implementation of this activity. Hopefully this good start will make it easier to implement the PANDAI Movement in the future as an effort to improve the quality of South Kalimantan's human resources.
