The Mechanical Engineering Cooperation Agency (BKSTM) from various Mechanical Engineering Departments/Prodi in Indonesia every year holds an Annual National Seminar on Mechanical Engineering (SNTTM) and the Mechanical Engineering Cooperation Agency Conference. Since 2011, activities organized by BKSTM have not only involved academics and researchers through SNTTM and BKSTM Deliberation, but also involved students in the Annual Mechanical Engineering Design and Build Competition, which is entering its fifth year this year. In accordance with the results of the 2014 BKSTM Member Meeting held at the University of Indonesia, Depok on October 14 2014, it was decided that the central theme of the Annual V Engine Design and Building Competition for 2015 was "Tools for Mechanization and Processing of Agricultural Products“.

For the winners, BKSTM in collaboration with sponsors provides prizes in the form of money in the amount of:

  • Winner 1: Rp. 20,000,000 (twenty million rupiah)
  • Winner 2: Rp. 10,000,000 (ten million rupiah)
  • Winner 3: Rp. 5,000,000 (five million rupiah)
  • Hope Winner 1: Rp. 2,500,000 (two million five hundred thousand rupiah)
