1. Work Team

1.a. Integrity Zone Development Team

The Faculty Working Team (Dean's Decree No. 133 of 2020) was formed to complement the university-level Integration Zone Team (Rector's Decree No. 1552 of 2019). The team is chaired directly by the Dean of FT to ensure that the entire FT community can be involved. The team consists of elements of the academic community at the Faculty of Engineering: leaders, lecturers, and education staff. There are 6 reform area managers as stated in PermenPANRB No. 52 of 2014. 

1.b. Team Formation Mechanism

The team was selected based on 3 criteria: (1) closeness to daily duties to ensure competency compliance; (2) having dedication shown from individual IK [SKP]; and (3) having a good track record as ASN shown from CV.

The selection procedure is through selection (assessment form) by the faculty leadership based on the 3 criteria. Attached is the CV of each team.

  • Priority targets are arranged according to the WBK/WBBM development objectives with stages starting from 2020 to 2024.

Socialization activities have been carried out through:

Evaluation of monitoring results:

  • Evaluation of monitoring results: Based on the monitoring results, it was found that most of the community members were aware of the ZI Development program at ULM and FT. In addition, all community members expressed their commitment to support ZI development. 
  • Follow-up: -Socialization of ZI development in FT has been effective, as proven by the monitoring results, which show that most of the FT community is aware that FT is carrying out ZI development and also from the community's commitment to support.

3. Monitoring and Evaluation of WBK/WBBM Development

The ZI development stages at ULM and FT have been underway, starting with activities Launching; while other stages according to the Work/Action Plan are carried out simultaneously by the entire community. ULM Integrity Zone Development Launching Event on June 12, 2020 with the Director General of Higher Education.

3.a. Implementation of Development Activities according to plan

Progress of Integrity Zone development activities and achievements (Period 15 May – 15 June 2020):

  1. Change management : Formation of the ZI Development Working Team.
  2. Management Arrangement : Updating Business Process Maps and SOPs
  3. HR Management System Arrangement : Evaluation of performance indicators and targets, development of information systems.
  4. Strengthening Performance Accountability : Optimization of existing services to the community
  5. Strengthening Supervision :Preparation of Risk Map, Conflict of Interest, Internalization of Gratification.

Strengthening the Quality of Public Services : The focus of service is on the FT community (internal) and gradually 6 SPPs are available for public services.

3.b. Monitoring and evaluation of the Development of Integrity Zones
  • Monitoring is carried out through regular coordination meetings between leaders and teams [Explanation as per point 2.c. above]
  • Evaluation results (Monthly Report #1 Period 15 May – 15 June 2020)

3.c. Follow-up of Monitoring and Evaluation results
  • The follow-up to the monitoring results is a simultaneous and continuous activity by the entire FT community to complete incomplete documents and also update documents that require updating. 
  • Included in the follow-up is transforming the entire ZI development process using information technology.

4. Changes in Mindset and Work Culture

4.a. The role of leaders as role models
  • Attendance Recap as proof that the leader plays a role role model in the implementation of WBK/WBBM Development.
  • Faculty of Engineering activities led by the dean and/or vice dean:

FT leadership as a role model in implementing foreign cooperation with KEWP (Korea East-West Power. Co. Ltd) in the development of the Energy Efficiency-based Smart Building Program on the FT campus.

FT leaders as role models in implementing community service through the Civil Program for the Country (SUN) which is implemented annually. For 2019, the activity was carried out by building a Madrasah School in the Village.

FT leaders as role models in implementing LKMM TD (Basic Student Management Skills Training) activities in the form of a series of social service activities in Mentaos Village, Banjarbaru City (2019).

FT leaders as role models in implementing FT participation activities in the development of Banjarbaru City through ARCHDay2019 activities.

4.b. Determination of Change Agent
  • Dean's Decree No. 134/UN8.1.31/WS/2020 about FT Integrity Zone Development Change Agent
  • Agents of change consist of elements of the academic community at the Faculty of Engineering, consisting of lecturers, education staff, and students.
  • The selection procedure is through selection [[Assessment form] by the faculty leadership based on the 3 criteria.  Attached CV each Agent of Change.
4.c. Building a work culture and mindset in the organizational environment
  • Work culture and mindset have been built through timely meetings, leaders provide examples of time discipline in attendance at every activity and coming to work and going home from work, not accepting any gratuities.
  • Every lecture schedule, the lecturer's punctual presence in teaching is always monitored and evaluated in meetings.
  • Work units have been asked to convey transparency to management regarding sources of funds/levies received through cooperation services, etc.
  • At every leadership meeting, the work unit is told to always provide fast service and without any charges.
