As part of the efforts to improve the quality of services and accelerate the achievement of the Corruption-Free Area Integrity Zone (ZI WBK) predicate of the Ministry of PANRB, The Faculty of Engineering, Lambung Mangkurat University (FT ULM) is carrying out activities benchmarking or benchmark at the Faculty of Engineering, Gadjah Mada University (FT UGM) on November 11-13, 2024. This activity is to study the implementation of ZI WBK at FT UGM which has received the predicate as a corruption-free area in 2021. Benchmarking This is also a means for the FT ULM ZI Team to develop competencies and knowledge that can be adopted and adapted in building and implementing the Integrity Zone in the FT ULM environment.

Benchmarking The first day began with an Instructional Meeting. Each area of change held discussions and made a situation analysis (existing conditions and problems faced) of FT ULM which will be presented during the visit. The 2nd and 3rd days were meetings with the Dean of FT ULM and continued with a campus tour.

The FT ULM group led by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs Dr. Mahmud, ST, MT welcomed directly by the Dean of FT UGM Prof. Ir. Selo, ST, MT, M.Sc., Ph.D., IPU, ASEAN Eng.  In this meeting, the Dean of FT UGM shared experiences regarding effective campus governance systems, human resource management, and the implementation of efficient and transparent public services.

The Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of FT ULM said in his speech: "Through benchmarking Here, we hope to gain the best insights and experiences from the Faculty of Engineering UGM, which has previously succeeded in achieving ZI WBK. We want to adopt some best practices to be implemented in FT ULM as part of our commitment to realizing an integrity zone. and can immediately obtain the predicate as a corruption-free area integrity zone (ZI WBK).

The results of this benchmarking will help FT ULM to implement higher standards in terms of academic service quality, information transparency, and accountability. The benchmarking activity ended with the delivery of results by the FT ULM ZI Team. Six areas of change reported lesson learned and recommend a follow-up plan for FT ULM in accelerating towards a Corruption-Free Area Integrity Zone (ZI WBK).
