WASAKA FT-ULM Team's send-off event for the KMHE competition at UNESA Surabaya from 15 to 21 November 2021. The WASAKA Team (U0012) has succeeded in entering the top 3 finalists in 2021 for the Urban Category - Gasoline Internal Combustion Engine Class based on the Decree of the Head of the National Achievement Center of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology No. 2253/J3/KM.02.09/2021 Dated 3 October 2021 Concerning the Determination of Finalists for the 2021 Energy-Saving Car Contest (KMHE). This decision was after going through an assessment of the vehicle design report on 2-20 August 2021 and a virtual technical inspection video assessment on 20-30 September 2021.
The 2021 Energy Efficient Car Contest (KMHE) is a national level economical car competition which this year was organized by the National Achievement Center (Puspresnas) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbudristek) of the Republic of Indonesia in collaboration with Surabaya State University as the host. It is hoped that this activity can encourage the nation's young generation, especially students, to produce automotive technology that is energy efficient and beneficial for the progress of the Indonesian nation and state.
