In order to implement the FT ULM campus cleanliness and orderliness program, it is hereby conveyed that the FT ULM academic community will participate in realizing the FT Green Campus as stated in the FT ULM Dean's Letter No. 1833/UN8.1.31/SP/2022

1. Since 2021, FT ULM has carried out independent waste management activities in the campus environment
FT ULM, which consists of:

a. Garbage collection
This activity takes the form of providing rubbish bins in the FT ULM campus environment and collecting rubbish that has been stored in the FT ULM Compost House (Engineering Techno Park/ETP area).
b. Waste sorting
This activity takes the form of separating waste based on type (organic and non-organic) by FT ULM cleaning staff at the FT ULM Compost House;
c. Waste processing
This activity takes the form of making compost (organic waste) and recycling (non-organic waste);
d. Waste transfer
This activity takes the form of transferring residual waste that cannot be processed to a Temporary Disposal Site (TPS) managed by the Banjarbaru City Environmental Service.

2. For the effectiveness of waste collection and sorting, the Prasad Working Group and BMN FT ULM have reorganized the rubbish bins in the FT ULM campus environment by placing 2 (two) types of rubbish bins (organic and non-organic) at each location point.

3. FT ULM academics are required to dispose of rubbish in the rubbish bins provided according to the type (organic and non-organic) and make sure the rubbish bins (especially organic rubbish bins) are always closed.
4. To increase the effectiveness of waste processing, FT ULM pioneered the formation of the FT ULM Waste Bank which is managed together with the Environmental Engineering Student Association (HMTL).
5. FT ULM academics are expected to become members of the FT ULM Waste Bank by registering online (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.shiinasoftware.banksampah) or registering directly at the FT Compost House ULM on working days and hours.

Thus this announcement is made, thank you for your attention and cooperation.
