Monday, November 11, 2024, located around the Student Center of the Faculty of Engineering, ULM Banjarbaru, the IM3 Creative Corner Inauguration activity took place, which is one of the implementations of the cooperation agreement between the Faculty of Engineering, ULM and PT. Indosat number: 0570 / PGD-PGD / SLS / 24 and 792 / UN8 / KS.02 / 2024 which is a follow-up to the MoU between Lambung Mangkurat University and PT Indosat with number 0003 / PGD-PGD / SLS / 2024 and 086 / UN8 / KS.01 / 2024 dated April 4, 2024.
Dean of the Faculty of Engineering ULM, Prof. Dr. Ir. Iphan F Radam, ST, MT, IPU, AER, in his speech stated that the Faculty of Engineering ULM is always open and provides opportunities for all agencies, organizations and the industrial world to participate and cooperate in developing and improving the quality of human resources, especially students studying at the Faculty of Engineering ULM.
Meanwhile, Irsyad Syahroni, Director and Chief Human Resources Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, on that occasion conveyed Indosat's commitment to provide opportunities for students to develop their creativity and digital capacity, both through training and collaboration in various creative projects. Not only in terms of self-development, Indosat also prioritizes environmental awareness through the "Waste Becomes Credit" program by placing vending machines in the SC FT ULM area. Through this program, FT ULM students are encouraged to care about the environment by exchanging the plastic bottles they collect for IM3 credit. This initiative is expected to build student awareness about the importance of managing plastic waste while providing direct benefits.
After carrying out the inauguration of IM3 Creative Corner, Irsyad Syahroni, had a casual chat with students of the Faculty of Engineering ULM who attended the event. On that occasion, the Director and CHRO Indosat shared tips for success that students need to prepare to enter the world of work.
On the same occasion, the Student Entrepreneurship Program was also launched, driven by the BEM Faculty of Engineering, which was marked by the symbolic handover of funding assistance from PT. Indosat.
