In this era of digitalization, various activities are carried out online on line. This means that all data or results of activities are stored in the virtual world. Even though it is very convenient, on the other hand, data stored in cyberspace is very vulnerable to being stolen and misused. Therefore, we at HMTI are holding a Data Security Webinar in collaboration with INTELKAM with the theme "The Importance of Data Security to Prevent Cyber Crime".

By choosing this topic as the theme of the event, we hope that this event can increase public awareness of the importance of maintaining data security. This Data Security Webinar event was held on Tuesday, September 28 2021 from 10.00 – 11.45 WITA via YouTube and Zoom Meeting. This event was opened by the Dean of FT and attended by 355 students and the general public from various regions in Indonesia. The speakers for our event this time came from PANIT 3 SUBDIT V KAMSUS DIRECTORATE OF INTELKAM, namely Mr. M.Dicky Khairil, SH, MH who is competent in the field of Cyber Security. The event went well. The committee has carried out its duties well. Participants were also very enthusiastic in taking part in the series of events held. This certainly makes us as a committee happy and more enthusiastic in carrying out our duties as a committee. Hopefully in the future this event can be held again and even better.
