The Student Creativity Program (PKM) is an effort by the Directorate General of Belmawa, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education to facilitate the potential that students have to study, develop and apply the knowledge and technology they have learned in lectures to the wider community. In order to make the Directorate General of Belmawa's program a success, for the last few years the Faculty of Engineering has scheduled a regular activity called FT Goes to PIMNAS. The target of the 2018 PKM proposal for funding in 2019 is PIMNAS 32, for this reason this program is called *PKM FT Goes to PIMNAS 32*.
This series of activities began with socialization on September 7 2018. After the socialization was carried out, the next series was the collection of pre-proposals to the UKM Teknika Scholar secretariat which lasted until October 15 2018, followed by an initial evaluation for 1 week. After evaluation, the pre-proposals are then sorted into several groups; pre-proposals that are feasible and the format is in accordance with the guidelines, pre-proposals that are feasible and the format is not in accordance with the guidelines, pre-proposals that are not yet feasible and pre-proposals that indicate fraud (plagiarism, etc.).
After going through various internal filters, from the hundreds of pre-proposals received, 105 pre-proposals were selected that were suitable to be forwarded to the rectorate to obtain a username and password. Slightly different from previous years, where the deadline for uploading proposals was the end of October or early November, this year the uploading of proposals ended on January 10 2019 (which was then postponed to January 17 2019). The schedule for uploading proposals which almost coincided with the Final Semester Examination was quite disturbing for the proposing group, in fact some of the proposals seemed to have been 'abandoned' by the proposers.
Anticipating this condition, the Uploader Team from UKM Teknika Scholar worked day and night from early to mid-January 2019. The uploader team consisted of Nadya Maharani (Chemical Engineering), Hana Regina (Civil Engineering), Muntaha (Mechanical Engineering), Abrar Khadifi ( Mining Engineering) and several other colleagues patiently reviewed the completeness of the proposal and its conformity with PKM guidelines. To facilitate proposing groups who have difficulty uploading their proposals, this team is also ready to help upload PKM proposals, without distinguishing the origin of the study program of the PKM proposing group. All of these efforts are carried out in order to maintain the tradition of the Faculty of Engineering which always achieves the highest number of funded proposals at Lambung Mangkurat University.
This tradition started in 2014, where every year the number of PKM groups from the Faculty of Engineering always reaches more than half of the number of PKM funded by the Directorate General of Belmawa throughout Lambung Mangkurat University. Science and Technology Competency and Competition. It cannot be denied that the existence of this Student Activity Unit is very helpful in preparing Engineering Faculty students to face NUDC (National University Debating Championship), ON-MIPA, Pilmapres selection (Selection of Outstanding Students), PKM (Student Creativity Program, PMW (Entrepreneurial Student Program), sending FT ULM students to various competitions and Student Exchanges, both at home and abroad (nhk).
