Civil Service for the Nation (SUN) is a community service work program carried out every year by the Civil Student Association of the Faculty of Engineering, Lambung Mangkurat University. This work program focuses on repairing, rebuilding, or new construction of buildings and public facilities that are no longer suitable in villages or in non-state schools that receive little attention from the government. The aim of Civil for the Country is to give birth to the next generation of the nation who cares about society and becomes a solution for society itself as well as helping society with infrastructure problems by applying the civil engineering knowledge gained in lectures.
This activity was opened and inaugurated by Mr. Romla Nor Hakim, ST, MT as Deputy Dean 3 of the Faculty of Engineering, which was then continued with the handing over of certificates and plaques to the sponsors as well as by Mr. Romla Nor Hakim, ST, MT. Then next was a tour of the 2 new classroom buildings to invited guests and residents by Chief Executive M. Rizal Hanif and Deputy Executive. Rio Junjungan Naibaho. There was also a Health Check activity for the residents of Handil Birayang Atas Village and this was accompanied by the distribution of door prizes. Interactive games were also held which the children of Madrasah Diniyah Darussa'adah participated in enthusiastically and enthusiastically.
Civil Service for the Country this time would not have been possible without the help of all the donors and sponsors who have provided their support and assistance. Therefore, we would like to express our deepest thanks to all parties who have helped in this event. Hopefully this event can raise students' social awareness in order to improve the quality of human resources, especially in South Kalimantan. Apart from that, hopefully it can make the government aware of the infrastructure gaps that still occur, especially in the education sector because all children have the same rights in pursuing education.
