Today the initial exposure of the Preparation of the Master Plan for the Santri Water Area in Murung Kenanga, Banjar Regency, was carried out. This activity was realized based on a Memorandum of Understanding on self-management cooperation between the Banjar Regency Housing Service and the ULM Faculty of Engineering. The preparation of the master plan product is intensively managed and coordinated by the Residential Housing Laboratory and Digital Architecture Studio, FT ULM.

As an initial stage of presenting the results of the study of existing data, the potential and constraints of the area as well as the components of the seven slum indicators became the basis for preparation as an effort to increase the value of the location and change the face of the area to become more characterful.

This activity of coordinating and mapping the potential as well as program activities of the agencies in Banjar Regency was attended by representatives of Bappeda and Research and Development of Banjar Regency, Environmental Service, Spatial Planning and Public Works Service, representatives from Subdistricts and Villages, Technical Management Unit, UP OSP 6 Kalimantan South, Banjar Regency Slum Free City team and other related agencies.

In the presentation delivered by Dr. Ira Mentayani and Dr. Irwan Yudha Hadinata mapped the strength of the Murung Kenanga area as well as the area's ability to become triggers who is capable of being landmarks the area on the river bank with the nuances of the life of the students around it. This activity is a manifestation of the University's concern for regional development so that they can work together in arranging living space and the environment for the better.
