FACULTY SENATE
is an element of the Faculty that carries out the function of providing consideration and supervision to the Dean in academic implementation within the Faculty [Article 1 (1) Regulation of the Chancellor of Lambung Mangkurat University Number 1 of 2018]
FUNCTIONS AND AUTHORITY

- The Faculty Senate has the function of providing considerations in the preparation, determination and supervision of the implementation of academic policies in the Faculty
- The Faculty Senate has the following authority:
- Supervise the implementation of academic norms, academic regulations, and the Academic Community code of ethics within the Faculty
- Oversee the implementation of academic freedom, freedom of academic forums, and scientific autonomy
- Formulate academic policies, provide assessments of academic achievement and lecturer skills and personality
- Provide input to Faculty leaders in preparing strategic plans as well as faculty annual work plans and budgets
- Supervise and evaluate the achievements of the education process, research and community service within the Faculty
- Provide an assessment of the accountability of Faculty leaders for implementing established academic policies
- Provide consideration to University leadership regarding candidates proposed to be appointed as Faculty Leaders.
